Who am I? I'm a person, human, woman...blah-blah-blah.....if you must know details I'm kind of tall, kind of slender and "Hispanic".....born and raised in Monterrey, N.L. Mexico (ee-ha!) loved it, love it and will always do....the ethnicity was not important to me until I kept being asked on a daily basis "where are you from"....so then I discovered, I was from Monterrey and people cared!
I have three children, I have 4 cats, I'm an aspiring mixed media artist among being a passionate scrapbooker and will do the unimaginable with paints and inks if there are some rubber stamps around.
I owned a small mixed media store in Austin Texas until it became more painful than enjoyable, so I closed the shop and continued to design rubber stamps for my own small company STAMPART, continue to teach classes and experiment with stuff.
I'm a Ranger Inks certified instructor on Perfect pearls, Embossing powders, Inks and paints. I have a degree in Interior Design and a masters degree in Visual Merchandising.
Why did I name my blog art fragments?....I guess because I feel like my style is still developing, still in pieces, I try to incorporate a little bit of one thing into another, and maybe that's why the mixed media appeals so much to me.
