I created this super simple and elaborate looking picture frame by covering my mat board with a thick layer of white gesso (Golden) and stamping on it while still wet, using foam stamps.
Once when the impressions done on the gesso were totally dried, I sprayed the surface with a light mist of water and proceeded to "color" the frame with the beautiful colors from the aged patina set.
